Spain has excellent relations with Morocco

Relations with Morocco are excellent, said the Spanish minister in a statement to the press following his meeting with Italian counterpart, Angelino Alfano. Fernandez Diaz recalled in this regard that the "accurate and detailed" content of the joint statement, issued last Wednesday after his meeting in Tetouan with his Moroccan counterpart Mohamed Hassad, reflects the status of relations between the kingdoms of Morocco and Spain. 

The joint document issued by the two countries has a very strong value, commented the Spanish Minister of Interior. On the issue of illegal immigration, Fernandez Diaz highlighted Morocco's cooperation in this field, saying that the Kingdom is one of the "interlocutors" with which Spain may conclude cooperation agreements.
