Strengthening of Agadir CHU Capacity to Reach 1013 Beds (Official)

Agadir - The University Hospital Center (CHU) of Agadir will expand the bed capacity to reach 1013, thus becoming a locomotive for the reinforcement of the health offer in the Souss-Massa region, and the southern regions in general, said, Friday in Agadir, acting director of Agadir CHU, Mohamed Arrayhani.

The 867-bed project, whose construction started in June 2018, will be reinforced by the 120-bed Agadir psychiatric Hospital, whose construction works were launched on Friday by HM King Mohammed VI, as well as thanks to the 26-bed oncology hospital, Arrayhani told the press.

He noted that the University Hospital of Agadir will be among the largest in Morocco, with several medical, surgical and biological specialties, adding that this facility is likely to strengthen basic health care services and bring them closer to citizens, while serving all regions of the south.
