Just in front of the mega car plant of Renault Melloussa in the new industrial zone, Tangier Automotive City will actually open later in March.
Extending over an area of 300 hectares, a first installment of 55 hectares, has been fitted out.
The commercialization phase is well underway.
Its first operators in area number 4,are an Indian company and three Europeans, representing a potential 500 jobs have already signed a 'Memorandum of Understanding' for implantation in the area, according to officials of the Tangier free zone.
