Tetouan: Preliminary Investigation into Acts Attributed To Two Individuals for Violation of State of Health Emergency, Police

Rabat - The judicial police of Tétouan opened on Wednesday a preliminary investigation, under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor's office, to determine the acts attributed to two individuals, including a police officer, suspected of violating the state of health emergency and transportation without authorization.

A press release from the National Police (DGSN) said that the first suspect had transported, aboard a car, a woman, her sister and their two children, from Tangier to Tetouan for a sum of money, adding that he benefited from the complicity of the police officer practicing in Tangier, who accompanied him during this trip in blatant violation of the provisions of the state of health emergency. The suspects were remanded in police custody for the preliminary investigation conducted under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor's office to clarify this case and determine the charges brought against them, concluded the press release.
