Rabat - Fifty-seven new cases of infection with the new coronavirus (Covid-19) have been confirmed in Morocco until Friday at 10:00 a.m., bringing the total number of contamination cases to 1,431, the ministry of Health announced.
The number of cured cases stands at 114 with the recovery of 5 persons, while the death toll reaches 105, said the ministry on the portal "www.covidmaroc.ma".
In addition, the number of cases excluded after negative laboratory results is 5,423, the same source reported.
The ministry urges citizens to respect the rules of hygiene and health safety as well as the preventive measures taken by the Moroccan authorities, and to show responsibility and patriotism.
