Rabat - Morocco has made serious and credible efforts regarding the Sahara issue, said, Friday in Rabat, Canadian minister of Foreign Affairs, François-Philippe Champagne.
Canada joins the United Nations Security Council in its support for "the serious and credible efforts that have been made by Morocco to move forward as regards the Sahara," Champagne said at a press briefing following his talks with minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita.
"During our meeting, we had the opportunity to discuss this issue, which is of great importance to Morocco and on which Canada intends to work with Morocco as well as with the international community," he added.
