Madrid - Morocco will participate next November in an international exercise of mock nuclear and radioactive accidents to take place next November 5-7 in the nuclear plant of Caceres (Southwestern Spain), the local government of Estremadura said.

Other teams from Spain, Portugal, France, Belgium and Italy will also be part of the "Curiex 2013" exercise that is supervised by the Spanish civil rescue.
Teams will assess emergency plans and coordination in case of a radioactive accident caused by a nuclear incident.
"Curiex 2013" was endorsed by the European Union last December and officially launched in January 2013. The EU is financing 85pc of the 600,000 amount required by the project.
